Amie Brûlée is a musician, performer, speaker, writer and researcher. Since 2011 she has performed under the stage name Amie Brûlée, singing and playing French and Spanish songs, vintage jazz, originals and songs about food and drinks.
Off-stage, Amie creates and produces arts-based events and experiences, producing music festivals and creating independent events that focus on music, stories and drinks. She also teaches music, French, wine, spirits and gastronomy. Amie speaks fluent French and has a PhD on the cultural side of wine, and her research focuses on social connection, cultural identity, creativity, sensory education and pleasure.
Amie is an engaging performer who brings heart and joy to audiences with songs and stories. She blends her expert knowledge of the global drinks world with her performance experience and continental sophistication to delight audiences large and small.
She has performed and MC-d at many festivals and events, regularly creates events in music and drinks, has lectured in wine at The University of Melbourne, worked for one of Australia’s oldest wineries, and loves collaborating with fellow lovers of food, wine and music.
